What Our Partners Have to Say

Rebecca Zama
“I speak as a friend of Fonkoze, as an admirer, and as a member of the village. What I witness is more than programs or outcomes—it’s a community that shows up, again and again, with empty hands and full hearts. Fonkoze has long known what we’re all beginning to understand: it takes a village.”

Francesca Momplaisir, PhD.
“When I think of the women in Haiti striving to make ends meet—the very women Fonkoze walks alongside—I think of my grandmother. I can only imagine what more she would have achieved had Fonkoze existed in her day.”

Steeve Valcourt
“Fonkoze’s work is real and lasting. I’ve watched a simple roadside stand grow into a permanent business—proof that with the right support, women can transform not only their own lives, but the future of their families and communities.”

Dr. Bertrhude Albert, Ph.D.
“The Haitian diaspora has a powerful role to play in Haiti’s future. Haiti will rise — but it can’t do it alone. The diaspora must stand with the homeland.  Without organizations like Fonkoze, countless lives will remain untouched, and critical work will go unfinished.”
