Adapting to Crisis, Sustaining Impact in Haiti

In 2024, Fonkoze USA adapted quickly to Haiti’s escalating security crisis and gang violence, developing innovative approaches to maintain donor engagement and partner support. 

Fonkoze USA secured diverse funding through grants, individual donations, communications campaigns, and technical assistance, providing crucial backing to key partners. This included social loans to Sèvis Finansye Fonkoze and capacity-building grants to Fondasyon Kole Zepòl, enabling both organizations to expand critical programs throughout rural Haiti despite challenging conditions.

Fonkoze USA demonstrates how international solidarity combined with Haitian-led solutions can create lasting change even in the face of extraordinary challenges.

Beyond financial support, Fonkoze USA builds institutional capacity within partner organizations, enhancing their programmatic capabilities and providing access to technical expertise and international advocacy platforms.
