Fonkoze x 2026 Creole Image Awards
A Night to Celebrate Haitian Excellence
On June 20, the Haitian community gathered at the Newark Museum of Art for the 2026 Creole Image Honors Awards—an inspiring evening celebrating the artists, leaders, and changemakers whose work continues to elevate Haiti’s culture on the world stage.
We were honored that a portion of the evening’s proceeds benefited Fonkoze, helping strengthen our work alongside women and families across Haiti.
Congratulations to this year’s honorees—Jimmy Jean-Louis, Yve-Car, Patrick Eugene, and Charnette Frederic—and thank you to Creole Image, Renew1804, the hosts, performers, sponsors, and everyone who attended for creating such a meaningful celebration of Haitian creativity, leadership, and community.
Events like these remind us that celebrating Haitian excellence and investing in Haiti’s future go hand in hand. Together, we’re helping ensure that more women and families have the opportunity to build brighter futures of their own.
📸 Thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable evening possible.
